C.C. Chen is the Chief of Trademark Department (Japan) of Taiwan International Patent and Law Office (TIPLO). He joined TIPLO and devoted himself to the field of Intellectual Property Rights since graduated from Law Department, Meijo University, Nagoya, Japan (LL.B.) in l986.

C.C. Chen is proficient in the areas of Trademark Prosecution, Disputes Resolution, Trademark Infringement Assessment and Intellectual Property Rights Law. He has more than 22 years’ experience handling trademark matters in Taiwan and abroad. He has long been working on trademark matters in association with foreign associates from Hong Kong, Macao, Thailand, Vietnam, Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, U.S.A. Russia, and many others. His expertise in and professional dedication to trademark and IP matters has earned him great reputation in the IP society, drawing reliance from many global companies such as Sony, Toyota, Panasonic, Sanrio, Hitachi, Ricoh, Xerox, Seiko, Casio and many others.

C.C. Chen’s publications include “Illustration of Current Trademark Law and Practical in Taiwan”. He gives several speeches on IP issues, including the latest one titled “Report on Current Situation of Taiwan Trademark Law and Relevant Practice” in Tokyo, Osaka from 2004 to 2007.

C.C. Chen is also associated with the International Trademark Association (INTA) and is actively participating many IP conferences worldwide. He lives in Taipei, TAIWAN with his family.
