Software dealers calling for establishment of anti-piracy system

   The Business Software Alliance lately visited the Premier of the Executive Yuan jointly with the local important software manufacturers to show their support on the government’s promotion of “knowledge industry”.  In view of the fact that the software industry is a key point to the knowledge economy, they hope that the government can establish a special system specializing in defeating the piracy and also set definite goals for promotion of related policies, so as to lower the piracy rate to 33% within three years and create an environment which is more conformed to the industry development.
